Best Places for Senior Photos With a Mountain View in Boulder, Colorado
If you’re taking your senior photos in Colorado, you might be hoping for that classic Boulder mountain backdrop. I don’t blame you — it’s absolutely magical!
There are a few great locations that offer that magical, picturesque view.
Flagstaff Mountain, Chautauqua Park, and South Mesa Trail are my favorites — let’s dive in!
Flagstaff Mountain
Flagstaff Mountain is perfect if you’re looking for a combination of foresty woods and mountain views! It’s gorgeous, usually pretty quiet, and offers so many beautiful corners to work with.
Something to consider, however, is that the view may be obscured if we shoot on a cloudy day. Since we are at such high elevation, we are basically up in the clouds — not ideal for mountian viewing! :/
We can be sure to check the forecast on the day of your shoot. When in doubt, we head to Chautauqua instead!
Chautauqua Park
Chautauqua is iconic for open views of the flatirons. It also has ample space to run around in the meadow below.
Talk about a main character moment!!!
South Mesa Trail
South Mesa is such a fun location — just look at these photos during Josco’s senior shoot!
Beauiful views of the flatirons, open space to frolick, and gorgeous Earth tones. Magic all around!
