A few weeks ago, I had the most magical couples session ever with Shaina and Rae. It was romantic, whimsical, and oh so dreamy — tucked inside the lush evergreens of Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder, Colorado. From the moment they inquired and told me they were wanting romantic, fairytale-inspired photos in the woods… I knew the shoot would be epic.

As a Colorado couples photographer, I find myself constantly falling in love with the enchanting energy of the pines up on Flagstaff.

Shaina and Rae knew this would be the perfect spot when they chose it! We wandered through pockets of quiet forest, danced along the trails, and soaked up the glorious view of Boulder down below.

Shaina and Rae brought two outfits — one casual and comfy, the other elegant and romantic, and both were perfect against the greens, blues, and yellows of the environment around us.
