A Dreamy Elopement with T, L, and their Sweet Pups
Last summer, I had the honor of photographing one of the most magical Colorado elopements I’ve ever witnessed — Taylor and Lian’s intimate celebration at stunning Brainard Lake. With the morning sun just starting to rise and the mountains standing tall in the background, it truly felt like a scene from a movie. Add in their two adorable furbabies (who completely stole the show!), and you have the kind of love story that makes me fall in love with weddings all over again (happens every time, what can I say?).
The day started with rich blue skies and epic mountain views, creating the dreamiest backdrop for their private ceremony. There was laughter, happy tears, and so much joy radiating between these two. One of my favorite parts about photographing elopements in Colorado is the freedom to create a day that truly feels like you — and Taylor and Lian did just that.

After their ceremony, we explored the trails around Brainard Lake, capturing the couple (and their furbabies!) in some of the most breathtaking scenery Colorado has to offer. They had a sweet lil picnic to celebrate their love, complete with champagne and wedding cake. If I could plan my perfect elopement day, this would be just it!
