MY FAVORITE Colorado Wedding Venue

There are countless stunning wedding venues scattered across Colorado — from rustic barns to mountaintop nooks — but if I had to pick just one favorite, it would hands down be ~ the great outdoors ~ !

There’s something so special about saying your vows surrounded by the raw, untouched beauty of nature. Tall trees, sunlight filtering through the branches, the subtle breeze and birdsong as your backdrop — it’s pure Colorado magic.

Recently, I had the honor of photographing an intimate wedding deep in the woods of Evergreen, and it took my breath away. The couple chose to keep it small — just their closest loved ones and their fur babies — and it was pure love all around.

One of the best things about getting married in Colorado is that you don’t need an officiant or even witnesses for your marriage to be legally binding. All you need is a marriage license and the two of you. That means your ceremony can be as big or as intimate as you’d like — from a 100-person celebration to a two-person elopement under the stars.

Of course, we’ll make sure we’re doing things by the book. Some outdoor spots may require permits. But don’t worry, I’ll help you navigate all the rules and logistics so that all you have to focus on is getting married to your boo!
